Dominion Roofing, Canada’s roofing authority since 1922, is seeking a motivated, experienced, conscientious and driven individual with a passion for sales and great customer service to join our team. This is a full-time, client facing position that encompasses a mix of both field and office responsibilities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Expanding the company’s flat roofing sector by sourcing new customers and getting on their radar
• Working with both the New Construction and Renovation divisions of the company
  • Estimating/quoting residential & commercial flat roofs
  • Providing pricing for labour/materials
  • Conducting core samples/cut tests where required
• Review and participate in as many viable open bids/tenders as possible (Biddingo, Bids & Tenders, etc.)
• Analyze & estimate plans/drawings provided by client to understand scope of work
• Collaborating with other sales reps and senior staff on larger projects
• Working closely with the Flat Roof Supervisor in developing a client base and pipeline in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors
• Doing take-offs/measurements using various software (i.e. Planswift, Eagleview, etc.)
• Prepare quotes/estimates/proposals using the company’s internal estimating software
• Set appointments/attend site meetings as required
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience selling flat roofs
• Strong knowledge of 2-ply & 4-ply mod bit systems
• Proficient in MS Office suite, Email, Internet
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Achieve deadlines under pressure
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving
• Ability to work with confidential documents
• Punctual, efficient and customer centric
