Dominion Roofing, Canada’s roofing authority since 1922, is seeking a motivated, experienced, conscientious and detail oriented individual who enjoys making a difference to join our team. This is a full-time position comprised mostly of field operations, with some time spent in the company’s head office in Toronto.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Working with the Production Manager to schedule projects for installers
• Review scope of work, timelines and expectations with installers
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure proper procedures are being followed by installers in regards to safety, material handling and application
• Inspect sites during installation to make certain proper protection is in place and the installers are following all company safety procedures
• Conduct final inspections upon completion of all projects
• Document any safety issues and/or deficiencies and immediately bring them to the attention of the Production Manager
• Verify that correct materials are being used and proper installation techniques are in play as per company standards
• Account for inventory on each project; take note of all shortages/overages and report them to the Production office
• Make certain all jobs are completed in a safe, efficient and timely manner
• Working with installers; building rapport, training them and ensuring top quality workmanship
• Conduct monthly safety inspections on installers and job sites
• Deliver/pick-up materials from job sites as required
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of roofing (systems, application, sales/service, materials, etc.)
• Experience managing roofing crews, service/sales teams, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Achieve deadlines under pressure
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving
• Ability to work with confidential documents
• Punctual, efficient and customer centric
