Service: Roof Repair
Location: North York, Ontario
Challenge
A residential property was experiencing a large amount of water overflowing from the roof valleys and running past the eavestrough system. During heavy rainfall, the water was not being properly directed into the eavestrough, increasing the risk of water spilling over the edge of the roofline.
This type of overflow can contribute to drainage issues around the property and may lead to additional wear on the surrounding roof, fascia, soffit, and exterior areas if left unresolved.
Solution
Dominion Roofing completed a targeted water-management repair to help control the flow of water from the roof valleys.
Valley Water Deflector Installation
- Installed custom deflectors at the affected valley areas.
- Positioned the deflectors to slow down the speed of water coming off the roof.
- Redirected the water flow so it could enter the eavestrough more effectively.
- Checked the affected areas to ensure the new deflectors were properly secured and aligned.
Result
The installed deflectors helped reduce water overflow from the valleys by slowing the flow of rainwater and directing it into the eavestrough system. This improvement supports better roof drainage and helps protect the home’s exterior from unnecessary water runoff.
This project demonstrates Dominion Roofing’s ability to complete practical roof repair solutions that improve water flow, protect exterior components, and address drainage issues before they lead to larger problems.
